WELCOME TO NEP
The National Educator Program (NEP) works in developing leadership, sustainable school improvement, career academies, high school redesign and all forms of small learning communities. NEP is also engaged in helping schools help each other via the NEPwork network of schools, research, and international dialog.
We address the needs of entire districts and individual educators through leadership training, focusing on raising student achievement, conducting professional development workshops throughout the United States and abroad, as well as sponsoring international, national and regional conferences on timely topics.

NEP Educational Philosophy
NEP educational philosophy is heavily influenced by John Dewey, William Glasser, Peter Senge, Phil Schlecty, Margaret Wheatley, Bruce Joyce, Beverly Showers, and Jim Collins. In the 5 Keys for Successful Career Academies, Thompson's concept of Academic Vigor, and the Components of Meaningful Instruction, you will find the values of Progressive Education interwoven into the way NEP views and works with schools and educators.
